KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas today announced the formation of a City Manager Search Committee, tasked with working with a national search firm and the City Council to select a new permanent Kansas City Manager. Members of the Committee include: Mayor Lucas; outgoing City Manager Troy Schulte; Mayor Pro Tem Kevin McManus; and Madeleine McDonough, managing partner, Shook, Hardy & Bacon, LLP.

“The members of this Search Committee have a wide-range of experience and varied backgrounds that will ensure we are asking the right questions of all candidates for our new City Manager,” said Mayor Lucas. “As we continue these efforts, we will also work diligently with the City Council to ensure continuity for our dedicated City employees, residents and businesses. Throughout this process, I remain committed to ensuring our City delivers vital basic services in every neighborhood, improves public safety, and prioritizes safe, stable and affordable housing throughout our city.”
