KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas released the following statement after announcing his appointments to the City Plan Commission:

“I am proud that my new appointees understand our vision for the city and share in our equitable development priorities, as most major development project proposals in Kansas City must be approved by the City Plan Commission. I know that these appointees will not rubber-stamp projects that don’t advance Kansas City’s shared goals of creating a modern and accessible city in all neighborhoods, and I look forward to working with these commissioners as we continue to responsibly build Kansas City.”

• Coby Crowl, Director of Business Development, Kissick Construction Company, Inc., Chair
• Forestine Beasley, Commercial Broker, Greg Patterson & Associates
• Cokethea Hill, Leadership Development and Research Director, University of Kansas
• Bruce Allender, Vice President, Black & Veatch
• Ashley Sadowski, graduate student, USC Urban Planning
• James Baker, Associate, BNIM Architects
• Tyler Enders, Co-Founder, Made in KC
• Paul Rojas, President, Guadalupe Centers

Additionally, the city manager, the president of the Parks and Recreation Board of Commissioners, the director of Public Works and the director of the Water Services serve as City Plan Commission advisory members without a vote.
