The 2015 Annual Action Plan has been approved by City Council through adoption of Resolution No. 141095 to implement the City’s housing and community development goals. Public meetings were held on January 14th and January 21st at the Neighborhoods, Housing and Healthy Communities Committee. Public testimony was taken during the meetings and citizen comments regarding the plan were accepted during the two month comment period. The 2015 One Year Action Plan describes activities, goals and outcomes to address community housing and development needs for the proceeding program year. The City receives four U.S. Department of Housing and Community Development (HUD) grants to accomplish action plan goals. The four entitlement grants include the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships Program, Emergency Solutions Grant and Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids grants. The 2015 program year starts May 1st, 2015 and ends April 30th, 2016.
