In the fall of each year, election booklets for the Neighborhood Advisory Council are mailed to the persons on file who represent neighborhood and homeowner associations registered with the City. Any group whose representative(s) does/do not receive a booklet prior to the KCNAC Candidate Forum (usually held in September) may download the booklet, which will be included as a link on this page when it is ready. Contact the Neighborhood Services Division at 816-513-3200 to let them know that you did not receive a booklet.
To check your group’s status in the division’s database, visit the online listing or call the division’s office at 816-513-3200. All groups must complete the registration process prior to Sep. 1 to receive a ballot for the current year’s election. The ballots are generally sent out during the second or third week of September and are due back by the end of October.
Anyone wishing to be a candidate in a Neighborhood Advisory Council election must fill out the candidate application.

New members elected to the Neighborhood Advisory Council are notified during the first week in December, pending any challenges or run-off elections, and an orientation session will be held in December for new members.
