City offices closed Sept. 7, trash pick-up delayed
Hazardous waste drop-off closed Sept. 6th through 8th
City of Kansas City, Mo., offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Due to the closure of City offices, trash and recycling collection will be delayed one day; the 3-1-1 Action Center, a division of the City Manager’s Office, also will be closed for the holiday.
Residents who usually have Monday trash collection will receive this service Tuesday, Sept. 8. Residents who usually have Friday trash collection will receive this service Saturday, Sept. 12.
The Household Hazardous Waste drop-off facility at 4707 Deramus Ave. will be closed Sunday, Sept. 6 through Tuesday, Sept. 8.
