Come Sell and Shop at KC’s Garage Sale for Charity
Booth rentals available for June 13 Garage Sale, proceeds benefit City Charity Campaign
If the hassle of having a garage sale overwhelms you, then Kansas City’s Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department garage sale for charity is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! The neighborhood garage sale for charity is a one-day parking lot sale to benefit the City of Kansas City Charity Campaign which supports United Way programs. Residents are encouraged to bring old or unwanted items to the sale which will take place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13 in the parking lot of the Neighborhood Preservation office at 4900 Swope Parkway.
If you are a seller, you can set up as early as 6:30 a.m. Sellers are asked for a $25 donation to benefit the charity campaign—all proceeds are yours to keep. But hurry, the last day to secure your spot at the sale will be on Wednesday, June 10!
Hotdog or hamburger, chips and bottle water will be sold for the low price of $5.00.
