Public invited to participate in City-wide discussion regarding local minority and women business opportunities

The City of Kansas City, Missouri, along with Jackson County, the Kansas City Public Schools, and KCATA have joined to create a Disparity Study Consortium to study the utilization of minorities and women on public contracts. The outcome of this study will help the City and its partners to improve contracting opportunities for women and minority owned businesses.
A public meeting to kickoff this study will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mohart Multipurpose Center. The public is invited to attend in order to learn more about the study and how to become a participant.
