Public Invited to Participate in Town Hall Meeting with Artspace Projects, Inc.
Kansas City, Missouri welcomes Artspace Projects, Inc., America’s leading nonprofit developer of affordable spaces for artists and creative workers, to conduct a Community Needs and Use Assessment which will help Kansas City explore options for developing multi-use and affordable live/work spaces. Artspace Projects, Inc. will examine the needs specific to Kansas City’s arts community in terms of space and amenities, affordability, and location preferences.
The public is invited to attend a town hall meeting to learn more about Artspace Project, Inc. and to provide thoughts and feedback on the need and capacity for new development in Kansas City to support the creative community.
What: Town Hall Meeting with Artspace Projects, Inc.
When: Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Kansas City Public Library, Plaza Branch, 4801 Main Street, (Cohen Center, lower level)
Ideas gathered at the meeting will be used by Artspace Projects, Inc. to gauge community support for the development project. Artspace will then deliver a feasibility assessment which will be used by City leaders to propose next steps.
