Proposals sought to spark redevelopment along Prospect Avenue corridor
The City has issued a new Request for Proposals (RFP) inviting proposers to submit plans to complete proposed projects to spark redevelopment along the Prospect Avenue corridor if the requested funding is provided. This time around, priority is being given to commercial development and affordable residential development projects.
In April 2017, Kansas City voters approved a citywide one-eighth-cent sales tax designated to support economic development in an area city officials have identified as needing a financial boost.
Proposals will be accepted through Jan. 25, 2019 at noon (Central Time).
