Area Law Enforcement and “Corner Café” to Participate In Fundraiser for
Special Olympics Missouri
On April 27th, 2013, law enforcement officers from around the Kansas City, Missouri area are joining forces with the three area “Corner Café” Restaurants for the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Missouri.
From 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., officers from the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, Riverside Department of Public Safety, Liberty Police Department, Pleasant Valley Police Department and others will be in uniform helping the regular wait staff with taking orders, serving food, cleaning tables and assisting the regular wait staff at each of the three locations.
Due to the generosity of the customers and of course that of the “Corner Café”, last year’s event raised almost $15,000.00 for Special Olympics Missouri.
Please come and enjoy a great meal and help benefit a great cause at the same time! The three “Corner Café” locations are:
Riverside, Mo.: 4541 N.W. Gateway Avenue
Kansas City, Mo: 8301 N. Flintlock Road
Independence, Mo.: 4215 S. Little Blue Parkway
