Steven Alyea – Missing

Possible Destinations: Lamar, Mo.; Siloam Springs, Ark.
Alyea left his home at about 8:30 a.m. Jan. 30, 1992, with a large amount of cash. He told a neighbor he was going to Lamar, Mo., to meet someone around 1:30 p.m., but should be home by 6:30 p.m. He has a severe heart condition that requires medication on a daily basis. Alyea left his medication and personal property at his residence. He did not return and has not been seen since.
His vehicle was located in the parking lot of a motel in Fayetteville, Ark., on Nov. 1, 1992. Officials said the vehicle had been abandoned at least one month. Prior to his disappearance, Alyea was very close to his family and stayed in regular contact with them. He was depressed over his medical condition. He could have been going to Siloam Springs, Ark. Foul play is suspected.
