The purpose of this project is to identify potential improvements for a bicycle corridor developed through both technical analysis and community engagement. The Gillham Road Corridor, spanning from approximately Brush Creek on the south to 18th Street on the north, is a diverse corridor with varying right-of-way, adjacent land uses, and travel patterns.
On Jan. 30, 2018, the City of Kansas City, Missouri and the Mid-America Regional Council invited residents to a community meeting to provide feedback on options for improving bike connections in the Gillham Road Corridor.
