The Healthy Homes Rental Inspection Program was brought forward by the community in the form of an initiative petition and became active on August 7th, 2018. The Program provides regulations for health and safety standards in rental housing in Kansas City, Missouri. 

All rental property owners are required to register their rental properties, per Ordinance 180248.
