If you’re at least 18 years of age, reliable and in good physical health with access to a snow shovel, then sign up today to become a Snow Angel.

The City is pairing up volunteers with seniors or residents with disabilities in close proximity to help shovel snow from drives and walkways throughout the winter season. It’s neighbors helping neighbors, and being an angel to someone in need.

To sign up, simply click on the link below to be paired with a resident. Besides a shovel, no other resources (like salt, ice melt, etc.) are expected from you. It will be between you, the senior and the weather to arrange and coordinate the snow removal.

Volunteers are not permitted to accept payment of any kind for the service, be that in the form of tips, food or otherwise.  It is purely and simply an act of kindness.

Upon acceptance into the program, you will be notified via email when you are matched with a resident in need of assistance and will receive further instructions.
