The City of Kansas City, Missouri text & notification system, AlertKC, helps residents stay safe and in the know with weather warnings and community messages delivered directly to their phone.

The City is switching from the Nixle system to Everbridge. If you were subscribed to the Nixle system, please resubscribe to our new system and select the types of messages you would like to receive.

Through Everbridge, the City sends text message and email notifications to subscribers. During events like major snow storms, severe weather or events that impact KCMO residents, texts or phone calls may be made to all KCMO residents.

Download the Everbridge app (App Store | Google Play). You can select to receive weather alerts, information about your Council District, city services, neighborhood information and more.
