The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) invites you to a Salute to a Majestic Soul, John “Buck” O’Neil, in recognition of his 108th birthday. This salute includes a series of events (Nov. 9-15) that kicks off with a tribute to Buck and a scintillating, soulful concert performance by the Queens of Soul Jazz: Althea Rene and Jeanette Harris, at the Gem Theater (1615 E. 18th St., KCMO) at 8 p.m. on November 9.
