DeLano Youth Housing and Supportive Services Request for Qualifications

  • With the support of Kansas City Public Schools and the City of Kansas City, MO, IFF is issuing a request for qualifications for qualified youth housing provider(s) to co-design and operate a new youth housing program and resource center (“DeLano”) in Kansas City, Missouri. The DeLano Project will repurpose the historic R. J. DeLano School at 3708 Linwood Boulevard to provide housing and supportive services to unhoused youth between the ages of 14-21. The Project will include the following programs: drop-in center, non-congregate overnight/emergency shelter, and transitional living program (TLP) housing. The DeLano project is currently in conceptual form. This RFQ seeks to engage providers and partners who are interested and able to commit to a collaborative program and facility design process to move the vision from concept to plan.
