The Folly Theater (300 W. 12th St., KCMO) presents The Pedrito Martinez Group on Fri., Dec. 13 at 8PM.  Havana born and raised, Grammy®-nominated, Pedrito Martinez, has drawn critical acclaim for his brilliant percussion playing and powerful singing, both deeply rooted in folkloric and Afro-Cuban culture.  His music is also very danceable.  Pedrito’s presentation primarily includes original music from his upcoming album, “Rompecabezas,” (Puzzle) and spans influences from spiritual African threads to jazz and funk.  Pre-concert talk with Pablo Sanhueza of KC Latin Jazz Orchestra at 7PM.  For tickets and showtimes, visit FollyTheater.org
