Area plans recommend strategies to help realize a community’s long term vision and we’re asking you to help us provide a comprehensive framework to guide public decisions on land use, housing, public improvements, community development and city services. The Hickman Mills Area Plan includes the area generally bound by 87th Street on the north, I-49/71 Highway on the west, the Grandview City Limits on the south and Raytown Road on the east. If you live within those boundaries, this is a great opportunity to give your input on the draft plan! At the meeting, you can expect an overview of the planning process, proposed recommendations for the upcoming plan, and next steps for adoption and implementation.
