2020 year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Despite these unprecedented times, it’s heartening that the Kansas City region continues to work together to celebrate climate successes and reduce air pollution, build sustainable infrastructure, promote public health, and ensure economic prosperity. We believe grassroots, community commitment will spur the momentum for climate action in the weeks and months ahead. In honor of Earth Day, Climate Action KC and its partner organizations have collected suggested actions we can all take, individually and as a region, to make Kansas City a better place.
