11th & 12th Complete Streets Connections Study 

OPEN HOUSE NOTICE:

When: Wednesday, March 2 from 4 pm to 6 pm

Where: East Village Transit Center at 700 E. 12^th St. 

What: 11^th & 12^th Complete Streets Connections public open house to discuss the final recommendations with the City, KCATA, and the Project Team. No formal presentation will occur.

Project Description:  

The 11^th and 12^th Street corridors are the busiest bus corridors in the entire Metro. This project will identify potential improvements for accessibility for bicycle and bus mobility along the 11^th and 12^th Street corridors between Wyandotte Street and Troost Avenue.

Identifying a design that improves reliability and efficiency for bus service will be a priority. This project will also identify ways to provide an east-west corridor between existing facilities on Grand Boulevard and the Paseo West neighborhood.

The goals of this project align with KCMO's Complete Street ordinance to make our streets safer and more accessible for all users: bicyclists, pedestrians, transit-users, and vehicles.
