8th Annual Border War is a yearly youth football tournament that Nets Developmental League host, that provide inner-city football teams (Boys and Girls) an opportunity to play in a cost-effective tournament. This football tournament brings in teams from surrounding states (Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Illinois) to compete for awards/trophies and bragging rights to be recognized as one of the best youth football teams in the Midwest. Border War's averages around 65 youth football teams with 30-35 coming in from out of state. Furthermore, since this is Labor Day weekend, we require all traveling teams to attend meeting on Friday. We also host a youth concert, of local talent on Friday.
