Held in the Beanstalk Children’s Garden at KCCG’s Swope Park Headquarters, Gardens at Sunset is our premier fundraising event, drawing supporters from all walks of life to enjoy locally sourced catering, engaging and educational stations, libations, and speakers during one of the most beautiful times of the year. The Beanstalk Children’s Garden is a unique urban learning destination, with hundreds of plant species for visitors to experience. Put simply, it's a beautiful oasis where visitors forget they're in the middle of Kansas City as they enter through a walkway draped in lights and gourds, then wander through fruit, vegetable, herb, grain, curiosity and pollinator gardens – all at their peak beauty in early September.
