Kansas City's Independence Day celebration is taking place Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at the National WWI Museum and Memorial. This FREE event will include live music, local vendors, and the largest firework display in the city. The south grounds of the Museum and Memorial are open for picnicking as early as 3 p.m. and fireworks over the Tower will begin at 9:40 p.m.
