CDBG

Agencies, Developers and Owners can apply for CDBG funding.  All CDBG funding applicants must meet at least one of the objectives of the CDBG program.  A project must also meet an eligible activity which includes, but are not limited to, acquisition of property, rehabilitation and preservation of property , construction or rehabilitation of public facilities, demolition and clearance, public services, and economic development.

HOME

The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) provides grants or loans often in partnership with local nonprofit groups, developers/owners or community development organizations to fund a wide range of activities including creating affordable housing and/or rehabilitating affordable housing for rent or homeownership.  HOME is the largest federal block grant to local governments designed exclusively to create affordable housing for low-income households.
