The Kansas City Aviation Department (KCAD) and the FAA will host a Public Scoping Open House to collect public comments on the scope, alternatives, and analysis to be included in the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Proposed Solar Facility Project at Kansas City International Airport. The EA will study the environmental impacts of the proposed solar facility development. This is an opportunity for the public to provide input on what issues and information should be addressed in the EA.  

The public scoping meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023. The meeting will be held in the KCAD Administrative Office Building located at 601 Brasilia Ave, Kansas City, MO 64153. The public will have until December 21, 2023 to provide comments.
