Join City and Community Leaders and Kansas City Health Department representatives for the launch of the Kansas City Farmers Market Passport and Urban Farming Expo. This public event allows urban growers to meet, discuss policy with officials, and attend an Urban Farm and Gardens Bus Tour.
The Kansas City Health Department works together with communities and partners to improve the health and well-being of all Kansas City residents. We do this by organizing and partnering with community-directed programs and services, such as the Kansas City Farmers Market Passport Launch and Urban Farming Expo.
WHAT: Kansas City's Health Department, Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II, and other City Leaders and community organizations will host Kansas City’s first Urban Farming Expo and launch the new Kansas City Farmers Market Passport.
