One of the most common requests we receive from Kansas Citians is simply: fix my roads. In many parts of the city, crumbling infrastructure is dangerous – not to mention, unattractive, and serves as a visual representation of the ways the city has fallen short in providing our community with the basic resources all Kansas Citians want, need and deserve.

We’re striving to ensure that all Kansas Citians can be proud of their neighborhood and of the investments that City Hall is making into their community – which is why placing an increased focus on better providing basic services is one of my top priorities as mayor. We’re committed to achieving this goal by making savvy and strategic planning decisions that reimagine our streets and sidewalks.
