Free Rides to the Polls on Election Day

In a dedicated effort to support voter access, Kansas City, in partnership with IRIS and KCATA, is offering free rides to polling locations on Election Day through the *Vote Your Voice* initiative. This initiative underscores Kansas City’s commitment to providing essential services where they matter most.

Mayor Pro Tem Ryana Parks-Shaw Launches “Vote Your Voice KC"

Increasing access to voters in partnership with the Greater Kansas City National Pan-Hellenic Council

Mayor Pro Tem Ryana Parks-Shaw is making voter access more accessible thanks to an exciting new collaborative project. Parks-Shaw introduced, and the council overwhelmingly passed legislation to enact Vote Your Voice KC, where kiosks will be available in all Kansas City Community Centers for residents to both register to vote and check their voter registration status.

Greater Kansas City National Pan-Hellenic Council will graciously sponsor these locations to empower residents to exercise their fundamental right to vote and ensure that every eligible voter is registered.
