Is your group interested in learning more about emergency preparedness? Do you need a speaker at your next safety, staff or neighborhood association meeting?

We provide free emergency preparedness presentations on a variety of general topics including:

• Basic emergency preparedness
• Severe weather and personal preparedness
• Personal preparedness – focus on supplies
• Preparedness on a budget

We also provide free industry-specific preparedness presentations for the business community. Presentations are currently available for the following:

• Administrative professionals
• Apartment managers
• Hotel managers
• Accountants
• Meeting planners
• Municipal employees
• Occupational health nurses

We encourage the business community to provide the general presentations to their employees, and we would be happy to work with you on developing a custom curriculum. Most people won’t come to work if everything is not OK at home, so teaching employees about personal preparedness benefits your company.

All presentations range from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the topic and the amount of time available. We bring free handouts and giveaways, and hold a door prize raffle for items such as an all-hazard weather radio, emergency preparedness starter kits, rain poncho, disaster T-shirt and other great prizes.

We are available during the workday, evenings and some weekends. Our schedules fill up fast, so please give us as much advance notice as possible.
