About the Development Review Committee (DRC) 

The Development Review Committee (DRC) assists the City Plan Commission in the development review process. The developer or his or her representative is required to attend the Development Review Committee and City Plan Commission meetings. The committee reviews certain development projects and makes a recommendation of approval or disapproval to the City Plan Commission. The committee is also charged with identifying plan revisions and conditions of approval.  Following review by the Committee, the project planner will prepare and send written comments to the applicant. Such comments will be available on CompassKC. The Committee may request the applicant’s attendance at a later meeting. The applicant may request attendance themselves if they have questions of two or more committee members.

Meeting Location: Online, via Microsoft Teams

Members: Staff of various city departments and external agencies.

Open To: Staff only. Applicants may attend after initial staff-only review.
