Cameras and recordings 

All persons, except those authorized in advance by the court to record proceedings, shall be prohibited from broadcasting, televising, recording, transcribing or taking photographs in the courtrooms, and in the corridors and stairways adjacent thereto. (Kansas City Municipal Court Rule 10).  This includes the use of cell phones and other electronic devices to record or take pictures.

• Missouri Supreme Court Operating Rule 16 and Kansas City Municipal Court Rule 10 apply to all requests for cameras and recording devices
