The Kansas City Health Department's Northland office makes it more convenient for residents north of the river to access public health services.

• Attend in-person food handler classes
  
  
• Receive a food handler card (Once a resident passes the online course, bring in the certificate of completion so we can process your card)
  
  
• If opening a restaurant or other food service business, we can help you navigate the permit process to obtain the proper permit(s)
  
  
• Obtain birth & death certificates
  
  
• Get flu, COVID, shingles and pneumonia vaccinations at our monthly vaccination clinic. Back-to-school vaccinations will be available June - August on the 2nd Thursday of the month.
